These terms govern your use of the Raven: Travel History app and ravenhistory.com, provided by Raven History ("we"). By installing or using the app you agree to them.

1. Licence

The app is licensed, not sold, to you under Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the standard EULA), which is incorporated here. Where these terms add to the standard EULA, these terms apply in addition; where they conflict, the standard EULA prevails for matters it covers. Apple is a third-party beneficiary and may enforce the licence against you.

2. Not legal, tax or immigration advice

Raven is an informational record-keeping tool. Day counts, rule statuses, projections and exported reports are calculated from data you and your device supply and from our understanding of published rules (for example the Schengen 90/180 rule, the UK Statutory Residence Test, the US Substantial Presence Test and USCIS naturalisation requirements). They may be incomplete, out of date, or not apply to your circumstances. They are not legal, tax or immigration advice, and no result is guaranteed to be accepted by any authority. You are responsible for verifying your travel record and your position with a qualified adviser or the relevant authority before relying on it.

3. Your data and your responsibility

Your travel record is stored on your device and, optionally, in your iCloud account (see the privacy policy). You are responsible for keeping a backup, for reviewing automatically detected days before relying on them, and for the accuracy of any report you submit to a third party. Automatic tracking depends on iOS permissions, device settings and network conditions and can miss or misattribute days.

4. Premium subscriptions and purchases

Premium is available as an auto-renewing annual subscription (with a 7-day free trial where offered), an auto-renewing monthly subscription, or a one-time lifetime purchase. Prices are shown in the app in your local currency before you buy.

Payment will be charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. Subscription automatically renews unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the price shown. Manage or cancel in Settings › Apple Account › Subscriptions. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.

Refunds are handled by Apple under the App Store terms; request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. The lifetime purchase is a one-time payment for the current app on the platforms where it is sold; it does not include future separate products.

5. Acceptable use

You may not reverse-engineer the app except where the law permits, resell or redistribute it, use it to create false records, or interfere with the service. The free website calculators are provided for personal use; do not scrape or embed them without permission.

6. Availability and changes

We may update, change or discontinue features, and we may update these terms. Material changes will be announced in the app or on this page with a new effective date. Continued use after a change means you accept it.

7. Warranty and liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the app and website are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, and we are not liable for any loss arising from reliance on day counts, rule results or reports, from lost or inaccurate data, or from decisions by any authority. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including rights you have as a consumer in your country.

8. Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Raven History is established, without affecting your mandatory consumer rights. Questions: [email protected].
